CalmNext Privacy Policy

Family routines stay private.

CalmNext does not require an account. Routine names, step order, completion history, settings, child nickname, custom pictures, and caregiver recordings are stored on the device.

Photos, camera, and microphone

A grown-up may choose a photo, take a photo, or record a short familiar prompt for a routine step. CalmNext uses those permissions only after a parent opens the protected setup area. These files remain on the device and are not uploaded by CalmNext.

Built-in voice and custom labels

Standard activity prompts use audio files included with the app. A caregiver recording replaces the built-in prompt when saved. Personal step labels may use the device's offline text-to-speech feature. The app does not send routine text to an AI service.

Purchases

Apple or Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat receives an app-user identifier and purchase information needed to unlock CalmNext Plus and restore purchases. BrightByte does not receive full payment-card details.

No advertising or tracking

CalmNext contains no advertising SDK and does not use family data for targeted advertising, cross-app tracking, or data sales.

Removing data

Use Reset CalmNext in the protected Settings area to clear app preferences and routines. Photos and recordings can be removed from individual activity settings. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to normal device backups. See Delete CalmNext data to request deletion of an identifiable anonymous purchase-service record.
